Early Christmas Present: 10x10 Sample Wedding Album

I couldn't help but let out a delightful squeal when the UPS guy dropped off my sample album that I ordered through a new distributer. Recently I had to find another album company to produce fine wedding albums for my clients, and here it is finally! What I love about this company is their quick turn around time and customer service. Not to mention that they offer 33 different fabrics and leathers for their album covers, and this gives my clients more options to choose from. Plus, they even offer custom photo covers!

When my clients order a wedding album, it will be delivered in a chocolate brown box tied with an eco-friendly natural cloth ribbon


This is just one of the many cover materials that I decided to pick for this sample album. When we meet, I can show you all the different cover options I have available


All covers are made with masonite, which gives the book a smooth and substantial feel. You even have the option to choose a padded cover




Flush mount albums have thick lay flat pages with no middle gutter, so the spreads are seamless

My Family Photos Minus the Tripod!

Have you ever tried taking family portraits with a squirmy baby and a tripod? And after the tenth try you are so frustrated because the baby isn't even looking? Well, this is what usually happens when I try to get a picture of Randy, baby Tyler and myself :( So my good photographer friend Mika Inokoshi agreed to help us take a few photos on our recent trip to Vancouver earlier this month.

I have to admit, it's a little awkward being on the other end of the lense! And even though Tyler hardly ever cooperates when the camera is on the tripod, he still wasn't really cooperating when Mika was trying everything she could to make him look and smile! Sigh...that's my boy...Mika, thank you so much for the family session and the new profile photo on the right hand side of the page :) You did a fantastic job and here are a few of my favorites!

Oh, and this is my new 'mommy' haircut :) It makes me look half my age and it reminds me of how I used to look when I was in Grade 12, plus a few wrinkles!







On the same evening, we drove far far (far) away to visit our friend Wendy in Poco and I took this cute picture of Ty Ty just before the sun was about to set :)

Wedding: Babara + Sherman

Our good friend Sherman from Seattle (who we like to call Sperm because we're good friends like that) finally tied the knot with his beautiful Brazillian wife Barbara. I love the randomness of how they met....a few years ago, they met randomly when they were stopped at a red light after a late night of partying. If I recall correctly, one of Barbara's friends signalled Sherm to roll down his car window to tell him that Barb thought he was cute. They exchanged phone numbers, and the rest is history!

The first time we met Barb was 3 years ago when they came to visit us in San Francisco during Halloween :) At that time, I was starting to get more serious in photography, so they graciously agreed to be my models and we went around the city so I could practice taking engagement photos! You can see the old post here.

If you've been following my last couple posts, you might notice that I keep talking about my trip to Vancouver. The purpose of that trip was to go to Seattle and photograph Barbara and Sherman's wedding :) For their outdoor photos, we went to the University of Washington. It was my first time there and it was the perfect place for their pictures!

Congratulations once more, you two are a beautiful couple and I was more than privileged to be apart of your special day! See you in a couple weeks when you come visit in San Francisco again!

Newborn Session with Baby Keanan

Congratulations to my good friend Leilani and her husband Stephan! I was so fortunate to photograh their wedding last year, and the timing couldn't be any more perfect when I went to Vancouver recently to meet beautiful Keanan Neil Janzen, who was born on June 8, 2010. I can't tell you both how extremely happy I am now that your perfect little angel is here! Tyler is even more happy because he has another friend to play with :)

Lani you are one of the most crafty people I know! You made such beautiful hand crafted things for Keanan, such as the birdie-mobile above his crib! I LOVE IT!

Baby Session with Ziggy

Meet Ziggy, she is one of the cutest babies I know! Her real name is Sora Lily Z. Williamson, she's my best friend's niece and I photographed her when she was first born here :) I just loooove her fatty fat arms and legs, and I want to bite her! We met up for swimming with the kiddies and did a photoshoot when we went to Vancouver a couple weeks ago. Here are the my favorites, although I love all the photos just the same because Zigs is sooo darn cute in all of them! Keiko, hope you love them too :)
