Family Session: The Do Family

I was pleasantly surprised by a message I received on Myspace, that is how Ann found me and decided to schedule a family session! After communicating through email for the past month, I finally had the chance to meet Ann, her husband Linh, and her two precious daughters, Lana & baby Raylynn.

We started off the photo session at my home studio because they wanted some formal pictures of their family.


Lana, 9, is the most perfect older sister! She's so tender and sweet to baby Raylynn :)


Raylynn is 4 months old and she's one CUTE baby!



After the formal pictures, Ann wanted to do an outdoor location with her family. I suggested to go to Fisherman's Wharf and they happily agreed! The entire time, Linh was so nervous whenever I had the camera pointed in his direction...he insisted that he didn't know how to smile naturally, but I think he did a great job!




In this shot, I gave Lana ONE goal: To make daddy laugh! She did a terrific job!


Ooh...and I just LOVE Lana's bright yellow flats!

Lana was so well mannered and photogenic the entire time :) She definitely made my job easy!




Ann is simply radiant and she's lucky to have such a beautiful family :)



Linh is quite out-numbered by the females in the family :)

Jen & Dan's Wedding on 5.31.08

I had the priviledge to assist another wedding for Augie Chang this past weekend. Jen + Dan, and their entire bridal party was definately fun to shoot with! There was never a dull moment and I really enjoyed shooting/hanging out with everyone! Augie, thank you again for letting me team up with you and to learn from a master photographer such as yourself :)

We started off the day with some getting ready pictures at The Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco

Their ceremony was held at St. Mary's Catholic church




One of their groomsmen, Dave, disappeared to buy some alcohol while everyone was waiting for him to take a group picture at the Church. Here's a picture of Jen + Dan enjoying their ice cold beers courtesy of Dave :)

Family Session: The Hortons

I met the Hortons last year at Michelle's wedding in Las Vegas. I was more than happy when they contacted me recently to do a family photo session with them! With a sexy couple like Gigi and Lee, they're obviously going to have even sexier looking kids! Their older daughter Sierra, 15, has naturally beautiful looking and mysterious eyes that are just captivating. While Zach is the youngest, he's only 11 and he's already incredibly handsome! It's not a surprised that the girls in his school are head over heels in love with him -- he's a little heart breaker!
