Early Xmas Present..

Over the last several months, I've been debating whether or not I should switch from PC to Mac. My decision was a difficult one because it meant that I needed to purchase all new programs, and the thought of re-learning a whole different operating system made me cringe. But of course, it didn't stop me from ordering my first Mac because I've heard countless good things about it, especially how it will make my post processing work flow THAT much easier. I hope it is true....

I was so delightfully surprised when I received a FedEx delivery this morning with my new baby inside! I couldn't wait to get my hands on it!

Baby Aaron: 5 months Young

Wow, this year is speeding away fast with December already here. Just another 23 days until Christmas!

Over the weekend, I had the priviledge to do a baby session with Aaron Van Nguyen :) He's such an adorable baby with a contagious smile! His mom contacted me through a good friend, and decided to set up a "secret" photosession with me because she plans to surprise her husband with photos of their baby and a music slideshow that I'll be creating for them. Here are just a few of my favorites from the session :)

Becky and Jimmy had their wedding on October 18th, and I took pictures as guests. As their gift, I finally finished their music slideshow! My favorite saying is, "better late than never!" Enjoy :)

Randy had a CRAZY idea to go shopping on Black Friday......anyone planning to do the same? I don't know if I want to fight with all the wild shoppers out there looking for a good deal! A petite girl like me might get stomped on and pushed around!!!

Happy Remembrance Day for Canadians

November 11th marks Remembrance day in Canada. It is the day we commemorate the sacrifices of those who fought during the First World War. When I think about this day, it brings back memories of elementary school when we wore a bright red poppy pin every year to show our appreciation to the brave soldiers that fought for our freedom. And I remember reciting with my classmates, "In Flander's Fields" by John McCrae.

Wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco

Congratulations to our wonderful bride and groom! With meticulous planning, this couple organized a beautiful and elegant wedding in just 2 months! It was also my first time working with Valerie, their wedding day coordinator, and she did a terrific job as the day went smoothly as planned. Randy and I are so honored to photograph your special wedding day, and we really hope you'll enjoy your sneak previews :)

The bride & groom decided to have their First Look photos done. This is a chance for the couple to see each other for the first time before the ceremony, and it was a good idea because I had plenty of time to photograph them.

After their First Look photos, we took pictures around the lobby at the Four Seasons Hotel

Then we headed back to the hotel suite for the tea ceremony


Then the ceremony started with the beautiful bride and her brother walking down the aisle

Barack Obama made history! Hopefully there will be a lot of positive changes in the American economy with Obama in power :) It's amazing that we get to witness the first African American in office. He will definately provide a hope for change and open-mindedness for future generations.

Halloween 2008 costumes revealed...

This year, my best friend Nancy came up with the idea to dress up as a mime :) And Randy ended up as a Jamaican brotha! LOL

Our other good friend Joe recycled Randy's convict costume from last year, and his girlfriend Giovanna dressed up as a sexy sailor ;) It's always fun to play dress up during Halloween, and this year wasn't an exception!
