Baby Kyle

The past weekend we drove up to Sacramento to visit our friends, who delivered 5 weeks ago to adorable baby Kyle! It's always hard to meet up with Alvin and Karina, but when we get together we always take full advantage of our time together :) Congratulations again on such a beautiful bundle of joy.....we can't wait until the boys are old enough so they can start playing together!

Happy Birthday to my Dad!!!!

I easily could've snapped a current picture of my dad and I to post on my blog, but my mom recently brought back a small stack of old baby photos and this is what I found in the pile. It was the only picture of my dad and I (plus my older sister) and it says '6 months' on the back :) I can just envision my dad speaking baby talk to me and trying to make me smile because I see him doing this to Tyler all the time and it's just the sweetest thing!! My parents are back to the Bay area for 2 months to help us out because this week I'm back to work already :( :( :( Where does the time go?????? Today is my dad's --th birthday, and I'm so glad we're able to celebrate with him!!! I LOVE YOU LOTS!!!!!!!

Spring Forward, Fall Back

How many of you forgot to change your clocks back one hour today? I suuuure did, and that's why I'm up extra early to blog hahahaha! As promised, I wanted to share our halloween costume with all of you.....Randy, Ty Ty and I dressed up as the Fruit of the Loom family :) At the last minute, we decided not to let Tyler wear his kangaroo outfit because it was too hot indoors for him:( We had a small halloween/house warming party on Friday, and guests HAD to come in costume or they weren't allowed to come :) When that rule was made up, I was almost sure no one would show up LOL!!! But everyone was a good sport and we had a party afterall :) We even had guest appearances with Kanye West and Taylor Swift, and also the Duggar family from TLC, but they didn't want their celebrity photos to be posted and they were both voted best creative costume too!!!!

I hope everyone had an awesome halloween weekend!!!!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday was a beautiful day to take a drive along Highway 1 in search for a pumpkin patch! I can't remember the name of this spot, but we dressed up Tyler in his kangaroo outfit to snap a few pictures. I can't blame him, but Ty Ty seemed more interested in his own costume than taking photos with us :) This year Randy and I will also be dressing up for a halloween.....stay tuned for our 'kid friendly' costumes!!!!

He did it!

Baby Ty Ty finally learned how to roll onto his belly and prop himself up with his arms! It seems every time I want to capture this on video he will be camera shy...and when I'm not looking he'll roll over :P Sigh........well, enjoy his most recent photos taken just yesterday :)

P.S. What mom doesn't like to show off pictures of their little one? I'm definitely not an exception! ha ha ha

Baby Joe Joe

I had the pleasure to photograph 2 month old, Joseph Michael Kim last week. He was born on August 18th at 11:22 pm weighing in at 5 lbs 10 oz. Can you tell he's going to be a future basketball player from his cute outfit? Baby Joe Joe was super cooperative on his first photo shoot, he stayed asleep the whole entire time and let us do as we pleased :) Thanks Mandi and Joe for a great session, congratulations again on your beautiful baby boy....He's so precious!

Zoe at 8 Months

Little Zoe is my niece on Randy's side of the family. She's absolutely darling, and looks just like my brother in law! After many skype sessions, baby Tyler finally met his older cousin in Vancouver for the first time in person :) I'm so glad I had the chance to photograph her at 8 months. Toddlers at this age can't walk, so it makes it easy to photograph them since they're still on all fours :) Next time we see little Zoe she'll be walking and talking in no time!

Wedding: Tressa and Denis Married!

I'm so glad it worked out that we were able to attend our friend's wedding as guests when we visited Vancouver a few weeks ago. Congratulations to Denis and Tressa! These two have amazing chemistry together, and Tressa just brings out the softer side of Denis :) We wish you both a wonderful marriage together, see you again soon....perhaps with a honeymoon baby next time??

Little Miss Ziggy

Proud parents Catharine and Jacob had miss Ziggy on September 18th at 10:01 pm weighing in at 6 lbs 5oz. They nicknamed her Ziggy throughout the pregnancy, and they're now trying to decide on a more suitable girly name :) Thanks for letting me capture the precious moments of her young life! Congratulations again!

Sleeping beauty..

In Vancouver!

Yep...that's right, we're in Vancouver again to visit our lovely family and friends with baby Tyler! We're here until September 28th, so I'll have more to blog when we get back!!

Happy 3 months!

My little baby Tyler is growing right before my eyes! Today he is exactly 3 months old, weighs 12 lbs 4 oz and is 23 1/4 inches tall from his last pedi's visit just a few days ago :) I am totally looking forward to the day when he can sleep through the entire night....they say that usually happens at about 3 months....**cross my fingers**

Because a blog is always better with a picture, here is Ty Ty on our new king bed! He is basically the king of our bed :) :) :)

Happy Labor Day!

I have good reason for not updating this blog! It has been labor week for Randy and I (and my mom) because we just moved in to our brand new condo in Millbrae! Internet was down for a few days, and I've been busy packing, unpacking, organizing and cleaning! At first I was ambivalent to moving because that would mean that I'd have to commute to work from now on....but it is reassuring that Ty has his own new place with better weather! Once we settle in, I will post some pictures up! For now, enjoy a wonderful guilt free week!

Before I forget, here is a picture of baby Alexander at his Red Egg and Ginger party a couple weeks ago :) He's 4 months old and a suuuuper cute!
