Wedding: Fung Yee + Harvey

Fung Yee and Harvey, thank you so much for patiently waiting for your sneak previews! The past month has been extremely busy and I'm in the process trying to edit all the photo sessions and weddings for my clients. With my mom back in Vancouver now, it will be harder for me to concentrate on my work with lil Ty needing my attention!

Last month, I photographed Fung Yee and Harvey's chinese wedding banquet at Koi Palace. You might remember them from their engagement session a couple months ago. Fast forward to June 12th, they celebrated a beautiful chinese reception with their closest family and friends. Their florist Nicole Ha did an amazing job with the center pieces. And the sound and lighting was provided by Professional Sound Productions (website still under construction). Now, enjoy a small taste of whats to come :)

Kate + Olivia = best friends

A couple weeks ago, I finally got together with my coworker Kristen and her adorable daughters Kate and Olivia for a photo session at a park in San Mateo. Younger sister Olivia just turned one about a month ago, and Kristen thought it would be a good time to photograph her. And boy was I lucky that day, Olivia was such a little gem and she just kept giving me smile after smile :) Big sister Kate on the other hand was being a little resistant to take pictures, but I still caught a few smiles from her too! Kristen, thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity to meet your little ones, they are beautiful just like mommy!

These two are are just going to be the best of friends growing up :) Or at least we hope so!

Wedding: Bonnie + Mike = Hitched!

Bonnie once told me, she knew she wanted me to be her wedding photographer even before she got engaged :) That must be one of the most kindest compliments I've received! Bonnie and Mike had their wedding on June 4th, which is a significant date because they went on their first date exactly 7 years ago to the day. These two are very much in love, and I was fortunate enough to document their vows in front of all their family and friends. Their ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Hacienda de la Flores in Moraga. Congratulations again you two!

Tyler Turned ONE!!!

What a busy busy weekend I had!!!! Last Thursday night my best friend and her fiance arrived from Vancouver, then I photographed a wedding on Tyler's actual birthday and needed to come home and prep for his party the day after! For a few months now, I was planning an under the water sea theme for Ty's first birthday and it turned out well! Of course, Tyler had no idea what was going on even with all the buzz around :)

Thank you to all those who came and celebrated with my big little guy! Ty has so many new toys and clothing, he's a happy camper :)

Mommy and daddy love you SOOOOOO much, we are so blessed to have you in our lives!
