Baby Kylie

Photobucket

Over the weekend I finally got to meet Kylie Han Fiori, who is 1/2 Italian + 1/4 korean + 1/4 Irish = 100% cuteness :) Congratulations to our good friend Tinna and Jason on your beautiful baby girl! Can't wait to see how much bigger she will be in the next couple months!

Happy Monday everyone!

Winter Fun in Tahoe

Tyler saw snow for the first time on a recent trip to Tahoe :) Needless to say, he tried putting some in his mouth to see what this white fluffy stuff was all about!

Happy Monday!

P.S. I'm loving the daylight savings time :) It's great to have one more hour of sunshine! (In today's case, rain!)

A Very Happy Birthday to ME!

Usually I'm not exactly thrilled that it's my birthday since another year older means another grey hair :( But this year I received the best present of all times! Randy and I are expecting baby #2 and we were officially told at my 20 week ultrasound today that we're having a GIRL!

Photobucket

The reason you've probably noticed more personal posts on my blog rather than photo sessions lately is because I've been taking it more easy this time around. Since I have an active toddler at home and I'm still working full time time, it's been much more difficult to schedule photo shoots on my days off when I usually look after Tyler.

Quite a few people have also inquired about wedding photography services for this year, but unfortunately I have declined all requests for 2011 because baby #2 is due at the end of July! Since the wedding peak season in the Bay Area is usually from April to October, I'll either be too pregnant or too exhausted after having my baby to be running around non stop for 8-10 hours :)

I hope everyone will enjoy their day as much as I will :)

Little Lucca's Specialty Sandwiches

We always drive by this little house that looks like a small shack, and each time there are dozens of people in line. Randy and I finally decided to try it out after reading all the hype and reviews from yelp. It took me a while before I decided on Lucca's Ultimate on dutch crunch bread piled with turkey, ham, bacon and cheese....and when I took my first scrumptious bite, I decided that this sandwich needed to be in a class of its own! The secret sauce that keeps people coming back for these yummy sandwiches is the garlic spread...YUM :)

First of all, this is no itty bitty sandwich with 2 pieces of meat with lettuce. A reviewer from yelp described it as a football that's stretched longer and flattened out a bit. Here are some pictures...photos speak louder than words :)

Family Portraits

These 8x10 prints were professionally taken back in December while we were on our Mexico Cruise aboard Holland America. We haven't had the opportunity to put them up yet, so they're sitting nicely in a tin metal box :) I just scanned them yesterday so I could post them online and share it with you all. Also, happy first day of March! Just 8 more days until my birthday *tear*

M.I.A.

Sorry I've been totally M.I.A. for the past couple weeks. I've been taking it easy and enjoying time with my favorite boys. Plus, the sporadic downpour of rain the past week has made it pretty drab to do anything too exciting. One project that we're trying to tackle is to convert our guest bedroom into Tyler's new toddler room. Right now we're just hunting for a few new furniture pieces, ideas to build a new closet for him, and basically looking for anything related to cars, trucks and trains because that's one of his favorite things. Tyler's pots and pans from his play kitchen are probably his most favorite, but we thought it would be too weird to decorate his room with kitchen utensils :)

Here's how our guest room looks now

Tyler's room is a slow work-in-progress. Actually we haven't done anything yet except purchase a few items from the following places...

Wall Letters that spell "TY" from Baby&Child Restoration Hardware

Ryder Train Bedsheets from his Godmother Robyn at Pottery Barn Kids

Decorative canvas wall art from Target

Hopefully his toddler room will be complete in the next 3 months...Once everything is done, I hope to see the biggest smile on his face :)

New Audi Q7

Recently we said goodbye to our Volvo XC90, only to replace it with our new 2011 Audi Q7 :) Randy and I are totally happy with the purchase of this car, not only because it drives so smoothly like a regular sudan but also because it's brand new with a 4 year warranty and totally worry free. Last Friday we drove it to Treasure Island and snapped a few pictures. It was a gorgeous day and you can see a bit of the San Francisco skyline in the background :)

Happy Chinese New Year!

Today marks the year of the rabbit :) This is what Tyler wore a year ago, but now it finally fits him perfectly and he was more amused to have it on this time around! Here's last year's picture. I wish everyone a prosperous new year and good health to all :)

Thomas the Train Set

Thank you Auntie Emmers and Uncle Leon for Tyler's train set! It's funny how boys are totally drawn to boyish things like cars and trains. I remember when I was young, the last thing I would care to watch on TV was Transformers because it wasn't a girly cartoon like Jem or My Little Pony :) Anyway, Tyler LOVES his new trains!

Tyler's first haircut at 19 months :) There was barely anything to cut since his hair is so fine and thin, but his grandma wanted us to give him a trim before Chinese New Year. So we trimmed a bit of hair that started growing over his ears and a bit in the back :)

Baby Anna

I've been anticipating the arrival of Miss Anna, who finally arrived on December 17th, 2010. Just last week I got the chance to meet her, and she was the perfect little angel as described by her mom. She slept soundly while I snapped away at my camera, capturing sweet moments of her precious newborn stage. Congratulations Paul, Julie and older brother Alexander!

Mexico Cruise and Disneyland

Photobucket

Life has been so hectic since coming back from our Christmas holiday trip. My memory is so bad these days I can't even remember what I've done and its already one week into the new year! Anyway, I really enjoyed our relaxing family vacation. I totally think cruises are perfect for families with young children, specifically with my 18 month old :) Even though we couldn't pawn off Tyler to the youth activities (ages 3+) during the day, everything from entertainment, to fine dining, and the gym and spa was just a small walk away from our stateroom. It was so easy to bring Tyler back to our room whenever he was tired or fussy.

We were smart to book a balcony room since I knew we would spend majority of our time there. The crew members on the Oosterdam were so hard working and incredibly awesome. Best of all, I loved the fact that our staterooms were cleaned twice a day :)

Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Having the balcony view was definitely a plus...
