Boudoir Session with Winnie

Winnie had absolutely no idea that she would be posing semi-nude in front of the camera until an hour before the photoshoot. Her two good friends surprised her with a boudoir session when she made a trip to visit family in SF. The only hints her friends told her was that lingerie and another women would be involved! lol....Winnie's husband thought, "could it be mud wrestling?" and he even wanted to extend his trip longer in SF so he could see his wife mud wrestle with another woman in lingerie...ha ha ha

I have to say, Winnie was a complete sport about the whole surprise! She was even gracious enough to let me post some of my favorites from the day :) You are so beautiful and awesome, I know your husband will enjoy these photos because he wouldn't have been invited to watch the mud wrestling anyway!

Family Session with the Su's

My sister and her family visited us in San Francisco this past week. It's been almost 2 years ago since I photographed their first session here. My niece and nephew are such well behaved kids, and I love spending time whenever we see them :) They also had fun playing with their younger cousin baby Ty Ty!

We went to Chrissy Fields and it was a beautiful but chilly afternoon...Enjoy the photos!

Family Vacation

Randy, Tyler and I enjoyed our first family trip to San Diego, LA, and Palm Springs! I was amazed at how good of a traveller lil Ty was on our 8 hour drive from SF to San Diego, our first destination :) It helped that we started our drive at midnight when he was sleepy and tired. Note to all new parents traveling with their young ones: bring your playpen!! We're so glad we did!

I'm kinda lazy to type about all the details of our trip, but in all, we spent good quality time together as a family in weather that could have been warmer! lol....now here are some photos worth showing :)

Out of Office

In celebration of my birthday next week, Randy, Tyler and I will be taking a week long road trip to LA, San Diego and Palm Springs starting tonight! But before that, my good friends are taking me out to Broadway Prime later this evening....YUUUMM, I can't wait to eat the mouth watering prime rib...it's definitely on the top list of my most favorite things :) :) :)

We will be back on March 11, just in time for my niece and nephew to come visit from Vancouver! This will be a great month! As always, a blog is better with a picture....so I will leave you a recent photo of baby Ty Ty...I can't believe he will be 9 months already in just one more week!!

Karina and Erica's Joint Baby Shower

Karina and Erica's joint baby shower was earlier this month and I'm a little behind on my blog post because both have delivered already! Thank you Erin for allowing us to host the shower at your family's restuarant at the Bechelli's Flower Mart Cafe in San Francisco. We had a delicious three course lunch menu, and everything was near perfection! Congratulations on the babies!

Bay Area Discovery Museum

A few weeks ago I had a mommy's play date with a couple of my friends from work and their kids. After lunch at The Cheesecake Factory, we headed out to the Bay Area Discovery Museum, a neat place for babies/kids 6 months and up to play and let their imagination run wild. Here are a few snapshots from our day!

Girly Tutus

If Tyler was born a girl, he would have a cute tutu to twirl around in and pretend that he was a fairy or princess! Unfortunately, this is not the case and I am in love with all his boyish ways :) In just the past few weeks, I got in touch with my other crafty side and now I have been crocheting beanies (aka "toque" for my Canadian friends) and making frilly tutus with the little spare time that I have.

Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010 Finally Here!

So exciting, today is the opening for the winter Olympics in my hometown in Vancouver, Canada! We want to thank our good friends Ed and Mel for sending us Tyler's Olympic apparel in the mail :)

Lee Family Session

On Sunday, I had the chance to do a quick family session for our good friends Robyn and Jon. I can't believe baby Alana is already 2 weeks old! Enjoy the sneak previews :)

Newborn Session with Baby Alana

Alana is not just any ordinary baby, she's going to be Ty Ty's future girlfriend :) Her mother and I have already a pre-arranged a wedding for them coming up in the next 25 years :) :) When I first found out that Robyn was pregnant, I was ecstatic and that is NO JOKE!!!!!!! Her pregnancy was what I had been wishing for so we could take family trips together with the little kids running around! It was perfect that I was Robyn and Jon's delivery nurse, as Robyn was mine when lil Tyler was born :) Congratulations again, I'm so glad everything worked out and I was able to share your birth experience with you!

Quick Portrait Session with Gigi Horton

Our personal friend and insurance agent from State Farm, Gigi Horton, spent 3+ hours with Randy and I last week to discuss all the different life insurance options now that we have little Ty Ty to worry about. Gigi wanted to update her website with a new profile picture, so I happily agreed to take a few photos of her. And this is the winner picture on her website and business cards :)

Not quite a year ago, my best friend from Vancouver came to visit me in SF. For fun, we shot a boudoir session just because. Months had gone by and her photos were just filed away on my hard drive, begging to be looked at. Sweet Baby Aden at 3 weeks

Congratulations Erica and Tony, for delivering a beautiful 6 lb 7 oz baby on December 12, 2009!! Baby Aden is definitely a keeper :) He is so precious, thank you for allowing me to photograph such a tender moment during his newborn stage...cherish it while it lasts, cause you know he's going to be big in no time!

Happy New Year 2010!!

Last night I worked new years eve at my regular day (night) job, and our hospital CPMC delivered the first baby born for year 2010 at 12:01 am in the Bay area! Congratulations to the lucky parents! I'm going to keep this blog post sweet and short, and leave you a couple pictures of adorable Julia who I got to meet at Fred and Barbara's wedding a few weeks ago :)
