The past weekend my good photographer friend Mika from Vancouver came to the bay area to photograph one of her friend's wedding. Mika and I both started our photography business around the same time back in 2007. Every time we would see each other, we always had a lot to talk about! So when Mika stayed with us for a few days, it was great just to hang out and catch up! One night, we kept each other awake until 3:00 am because we had a "Cathy and Mika editing bootcamp session" so we could compare our editing styles! Oh the fun!!!
And finally, Mika helped us take some fabulous photos during our 2-day family photo session!! Please visit her at Mika Inokoshi Photography to see her work and give her some love! I even got permission to edit my own photos :) It was really hard to narrow down my favorites but here they are! Tyler at 28 months and Emi at 2 months, enjoy!

San Francisco Day After Session
Last weekend my best friend Nancy and her new hubby came to San Francisco for a pre-honeymoon trip after their wedding in Vancouver. To take advantage of her gorgeous wedding dress which will be forever boxed away after dry cleaning, we decided to do a day after session so she could wear her gown one last time.

Vancouver Wedding: Nancy + Leon = COMPLETE
My best friend Nancy and Leon finally sealed the deal on August 28th with a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony at Brix Restaurant in Vancouver. You might remember them from their Mexico engagement session here. Congratulations to the happiest couple I know! I wouldn't have missed the wedding for the world, and was so glad I was able to fly back even if it was for a day and half! I LOVE you BOTH so dearly and now that you're officially husband and wife, I'm ecstatic for what the future holds!
My talented friend Mika Inokoshi was their wedding day photographer, but I also managed to take some pictures whenever I had the chance. Enjoy!
Folded cranes symbolize honor and loyalty in the Japanese culture, and Nancy spent months folding these!
My best friend is such a beautiful and stunning bride!
LOVE <3 the Kimono!
Congratulations Leon and Nancy!! xoxo
