Vacation Status :)

The anticipation to our 8 day Mexico cruise, followed by 2 nights in Disneyland is finally here! I'm looking forward to spending Christmas on Holland America's Oosterdam with my two favorite boys on our first family vacation :) Our ports include Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, La Paz and Cabo San lucas. This will be a slower month of blogging, but there will be plenty of pictures to share when I get back!

Have a wonderful holiday season! Don't forget to check back on the blog for picture updates!

Bon Voyage everyone :)

Le Family Session

I had the pleasure to photograph a family session for our friends Kathy and Kevin, plus their adorable kids Kaitlyn and Kayden. All names starting with the letter K :) For the location we choose the same park near my neighborhood that I photographed a few weeks before for the lovely fall colors. Here are just a few photos from our shoot.

Winter Family Session

I can't believe it's December! Which only means another 23 days to Christmas!

I love that we get late summer weather in the bay area. I wonder if that's why I still see nice fall foliage during our winter season now? Whatever the case may be, we took total advantage of the beautiful autumn colors during a recent family session last week. And the park we went to was only a couple blocks away from where I live :) Thank you Elizabeth for coordinating this session and for being a terrific auntie to your precious niece Joie--you really made her smile in her photos :) :) :)

Meet Joel, Betty and baby Joie. They are the sweetest family :)

Happy American Thanksgiving!

We all have so much to be thankful for during this holiday season! Just last week, I received some yummy red velvet cupcakes from my neighbor as a thank you for being their labor and delivery nurse a couple months ago :) Of course when Tyler saw the frosting peeping out of the box, his eyes lit up and I had to share one with him......Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Now who's going to get ready for Black Friday shopping??? Anyone??? I think it will be Cyber Monday shopping for me.....

E-session with Art + Chau

It was surprisingly warm last week when I photographed Art and Chau's engagement session. These two are Giants fans, so it made sense when they told me they wanted to have their pictures taken at AT&T park just weeks after the Giants won the World Series! The weather was absolutely gorgeous even for November. Randy and I had a fun time, you two were so natural in front of the camera and I think the photos speak volumes :) Congratulations to you and I hope you enjoy your sneak previews!

Holiday Card 2010

Another 39 days until Christmas!! Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year...I love all the pretty decorations, the festive mood, and best of all the yummy comfort food! But of course, nothing beats being around family and friends during the holiday season. With two weeks off this year, we could either take a trip to Vancouver again for the 4th time or go somewhere else. Dear hubby decided to go with the latter and I didn't argue with him :) As nice as it would be for Tyler to spend time with his grandparents and cousins, he will be going to the warm waters of the Mexican Riviera for Christmas instead :) And we are totally looking forward to our family trip! That means, no hassle to put up the Christmas tree and the risk of Tyler breaking the ornaments this year :)

Here'a a preview of our 2010 holiday cards! I found these wonderful holiday card templates for FREE from this website: LG Perspectives and there are 6 designs to download! The template I used was a vertical 5x7, but I tweaked it on PS3 and made my own rendition of it because I wanted a horizontal 5x7 card :) My best friend Nancy did a good job taking our family photo on the right during our last visit to Vancouver!

Here are some more picture updates of Tyler from his trip to Vancouver.

This picture is OOF (out of focus), but there's a uniqueness to it that makes me love this photo :)
