My Second KISS

Photobucket

My first kiss was Randy :) (BAAAARF..LOL)

The KISS wedding sample album that I ordered finally arrived a few weeks ago and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! This album is exactly what I expected it to be: clean, simple and elegant. What I love most about this book is that the pages are thick, and there are no seamlines in the spreads. You can definately see the superior craftsmenship of this album, and best of all it has flawless binding and beautiful prints. The genuine soft leather cover will just melt in your hands! Just take a look at the pictures to get an idea of what I'm talking about. When you order a KISS wedding album, you will also receive a beautiful black and white dust cover!

Wedding: Becky + Jimmy = COMMITMENT

Photobucket

I have to be very grateful for Becky and Jimmy because this couple actually helped me launch my pursuit in photography exactly 2 years ago when I photographed their E-session! In fact, they were my first paying "clients" when I started out with my dSLR. It seemed so long ago....I've come a long way in such little time :)

When Becky said "yes" to Jimmy's proposal, she spent endless hours planning her wedding day to perfection. On October 18th, the couple said their vows as they began their journey together as husband and wife. Randy and I attended this wedding ceremony as guests, but how could I resist not taking some ceremony shots of the beautiful bride and groom? It must be a photographer's disease when you can't just sit there and look pretty. I wanted to capture their once in a lifetime memory, and I felt that I needed to. There was just no other way :) Becky and Jimmy, you two are perfect for each other and we're so happy this day has finally come---Congratulations!

Becky, you look absolutely gorgeous!

E-Session: Couple in Love

Photobucket

When I was asked to do this couple's wedding, I was ecstatic and honored at the same time! The very soon-to-be bride and groom decided to do their e-session at the GG Park, where they spend a lot of time together during their weekends. It's great when couples choose a location for their engagement shoot that is both meaningful and sentimental. Despite the chilly SF weather, we had a lot of fun together and the pictures turned out great! I hope you'll enjoy them and I'm super excited to shoot your wedding in just 2 more weeks!

Caoimhe ("KEE-VAH") at 18 months

Photobucket

Previously, I blogged a newborn session for baby Peter. To be fair, older sister Caoimhe (an Irish name pronouced as "KEE-VAH") deserves her own individual blog post too because she's just as special! Even though Caoimhe is 50% korean and 50% Irish, she seems to look more asian to me, what do you think?

Caoimhe likes to be in the nude :)

Newborn Session: Peter at 2 weeks Young

Photobucket

Exactly 2 weeks ago, I was happy to find out that my friend Jenny (also my coworker) was admitted to the hospital to be induced. I was even more excited when she asked me to be her labor & delivery nurse! Just a couple pushes, Jenny delivered a beautiful baby boy on October 2, 2008 at 9:25 AM!

Meet Peter Cian Brolly, he's half korean and half Irish = One cuuuuuute baby!
Here is his first picture at birth taken from my phone!
Photobucket

2 weeks later, Peter was ready to do his first professional photoshoot! His job was easy: eat, sleep, and look cute! After a good feeding, he was ready to be photographed and he was so well behaved :)

I wonder if Peter would get mad at me for posting this picture of him?

Older sister Caiomhe (pronounced "KEE-VAH" in Irish) and baby Peter. SOOO sweet :) Caiomhe quickly tossed aside her TY beanie baby as soon as her mom let her hold her baby brother. Stay tuned for a future post on Caiomhe........
