My First Mother's Day!

Wishing all the mamas out there a very wonderful mother's day! You gave birth, you gave life, and you continue to give love! My friend Michelle on Facebook wrote: "[you] can't really learn to appreciate the greatness of your mom until you become one yourself"...and I think that's very true....Today is my first mother's day as a mom, and I can tell you first hand how important my mama is to me :)

Mom, I know you will be reading this. So I want to tell you just how much I love you and how much I appreciate you sacrificing a part of your life to help raise and care for Tyler in San Francisco. Although he can't talk yet, he loves you very very much :)

My awesome husband surprised me with a bouquet of roses this morning and cupcakes :) He made my heart all warm and fuzzy!! I am so truely blessed, this is my first mothers day that I will never forget!
