Justine & Ian Validate Their Marriage

I met Justine and Ian a few years ago through my friend Michelle when she got married in Vegas. Nurses and cops seem to be a common trend in their family and they're no exception :) Justine is not only Michelle's younger sister, but also her best friend. They have gone through so much together. Justine and Ian had their official wedding in Maui last September with their son Gavin, and their immediate families. This time around, they decided to validate their marriage at a Catholic church for the rest of their extended family and friends to attend :) Congratulations again, I will post a separate blog with a slideshow of their ceremony photos...so keep checking back!

After the ceremony, we headed over to Justine and Ian's neighborhood for some photos. They live next to a golf course with a nearby field that was perfect to take pictures. It was hard to narrow down my favorite images!

You could hardly tell that Ian was shy in front of the camera. In fact, the next two images are probably my favorites :)

Baby Cody at 6 days young!

I got to meet another tiny treasure not too long ago :) I can just "oooh and aahhh" over newborns all day!! Not only am I lucky at helping deliver babies at work, but I can also photograph them on my days off :) I just love their perfectly smooth skin, their tiny little hands and feet, and their complete innocence. Having said that, baby Cody and I met just shy of a week after he was born, which was May 1, 2010 at 10:57 pm. This little peanut weighed 5 lb 8 oz at birth and super long at 20 inches! It's usually the little ones who tend to gain the quickest weight, so he'll be catching up in no time!

Congratulations Melissa and Richard, it was great to meet such a wonderful family! Baby Cody just kept sleeping and sleeping on the day of his photo session, and was a complete gem to work with! Now, enjoy a few of my favorites from the day!

My First Mother's Day!

Wishing all the mamas out there a very wonderful mother's day! You gave birth, you gave life, and you continue to give love! My friend Michelle on Facebook wrote: "[you] can't really learn to appreciate the greatness of your mom until you become one yourself"...and I think that's very true....Today is my first mother's day as a mom, and I can tell you first hand how important my mama is to me :)

Mom, I know you will be reading this. So I want to tell you just how much I love you and how much I appreciate you sacrificing a part of your life to help raise and care for Tyler in San Francisco. Although he can't talk yet, he loves you very very much :)

I looked but couldn't find a recent photo of my mom and I, so here's one of just her.



My awesome husband surprised me with a bouquet of roses this morning and cupcakes :) He made my heart all warm and fuzzy!! I am so truely blessed, this is my first mothers day that I will never forget!

Baby Mycah Aiden Do

Meet Baby Mycah, one of the cutest babies and a real dream to photograph! He was just 10 days young during his first professional photo shoot and he was a talented model to say the least :) Best of all, he's showered with so much love from his mommy and daddy, plus his older brother Eeann who was so careful and gentle with him! It was great to meet this wonderful family for the very first time, and I'm excited to share the beautiful photos that I captured....enjoy!

Baby Filomena!

Julia and Gabe delivered their precious little one on April 6 at 9:02 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs 14oz. Julia was a rock star and had a completely drug free / epidural free child birth with the amazing help of her nurse Tina! This photo session was 2 weeks ago, and at the time Filomnea Ann Lieb was exactly 14 days young. She was a complete angel to photograph, basically letting us pose her in any way we wanted without making much of a fuss :) Enjoy the sneak previews!

Tyler is 10.5 months and he just took his very first steps on his own 2 days ago!! My little man amazes me every day with all the new things he learns and his constant cuteness!! aaaaahhhhhhh :) Enjoy his naked photos, cuz some day I know he'll demand that I take these pictures off the internet!!

E-session with Fung Yee and Harvey

Apologies for neglecting this blog lately...i feel like I've been insanely busy during the past week...I have so many pictures to edit and post from a couple recent sessions. Wedding season is approaching, and last week I had my first engagement session with Fung Yee and Harvey! This couple was a blast to photograph cause they are so cute and fun loving in front of the camera :) We started off the morning for breakfast at Boulette's Larder in SF ferry building terminal and took pictures around the area. Headshots with Richie

Richie is a neighbor of mine, and when he asked for a few headshots for his portfolio I couldn't say no cause he's such a nice and friendly guy :) Just look at his contagious smile! For the location, we just went around the complex of our condo building.

Newborn Session with Mia!

Baby Mia was born prematurely at 28 weeks on November 25, 2009 and she was just under 3 lbs at birth...but you wouldn't know it by just looking at her because she currently weighs 12+ lbs! I love all her chubs, fat cheeks, and chunky thighs :) And when she drinks from a bottle, she makes this cute clicking noise! I'm glad she's out of NICU and is finally home with her mama and papa where she belongs :) Congrats again!
